There was a debate going on (in my head) as to whether I should continue my blogging now that we have returned to Thousand Oaks. The conclusion is obvious....why the hell not? It seems to be the easiest way to stay connected, and lacks the voyeurism of "Facebook". So today I am documenting Denise's recent birthday. We had a few friends over for dinner, and one of the gifts from AnnaLise was a serenade on her guitar! Hope the pictures are viewable. (Ignore the plethora of wine bottles.)

First time I read the blog. Great posts Traci. I really got a sense for the place and food of course. This must be their monsoon season--this is what they call it in Arizona when they get rains and thunder this time of year. Perhaps it is always like that. Happy Birthday Denise. You are still the young one. Ran into Laurie at the Vet Cup. I played 050 this year and we won! I wish I could spend time in a country. Hope we get a chance to taste some of the recipes you learned to make sometime.
what wine bottles? oh,, HEY since when do you chard and red -philes have pinot grigio on hand??? don't think i don't recog. an ecco domani bottle from 1000's of miles away.
